Terms & Conditions – MaidOnCall.in
Effective Date: 01 November 2025
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the platform available at https://maidoncall.in (the "Platform"), operated by MaidOnCall ("MaidOnCall", "Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you ("User", "you", or "your") expressly agree to be bound by these Terms, all policies referenced herein, and applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
PART A – TERMS FOR HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
1. Nature of Platform & Services
1.1 MaidOnCall is a technology-based marketplace that facilitates connections between Users and independent third-party service providers ("Experts").
1.2 MaidOnCall does not provide, supervise, manage, employ, control, or guarantee any housekeeping or domestic services.
1.3 All services are performed entirely at the User's own discretion and risk.
2. No Employment / Agency / Partnership
2.1 Experts are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers, or representatives of MaidOnCall.
2.2 Nothing on the Platform shall be construed as creating any employer-employee or principal-agent relationship between MaidOnCall and any Expert or User.
3. Account Responsibility
3.1 Users must provide accurate and complete information.
3.2 You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
3.3 MaidOnCall reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts without notice if information is false, misleading, or fraudulent.
4. Bookings, Payments & Finality
4.1 MaidOnCall acts only as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of Experts.
4.2 All payments made through the Platform are final and non-refundable, except as expressly stated in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4.3 MaidOnCall shall not be liable to compensate, reimburse, refund, or pay damages for any dissatisfaction, loss, or dispute between Users and Experts.
4.4 Taxes and statutory charges are borne by the User as applicable.
5. Theft, Loss, Damage & Misconduct – Complete Disclaimer
5.1 MaidOnCall shall not be liable under any circumstances for:
- Theft, pilferage, burglary, misappropriation, or loss of cash, valuables, documents, jewellery, or property
- Misconduct, negligence, fraud, dishonesty, assault, harassment, abuse, or criminal acts by Experts
- Damage to property, injury, illness, or death of any person
5.2 Users acknowledge that Experts enter their premises solely at the User's request and risk.
5.3 Users are strongly advised to:
- Secure valuables
- Supervise services
- Conduct independent verification if desired
5.4 MaidOnCall shall not pay, compensate, indemnify, or settle any claims arising from the acts or omissions of Experts.
6. Background Checks Disclaimer
6.1 Any verification or documentation collected by MaidOnCall (if any) is limited, non-exhaustive, and for facilitation purposes only.
6.2 MaidOnCall does not warrant or guarantee the authenticity, accuracy, or reliability of any Expert credentials.
7. User Conduct
7.1 Users must provide a lawful, safe, and respectful environment.
7.2 MaidOnCall may suspend or permanently ban Users for abuse, harassment, illegal activity, or policy violations.
PART B – NON-HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
8. Independent Engagement
8.1 All Non-Housekeeping Services are direct contracts between the User and the Expert.
8.2 MaidOnCall has no responsibility, control, or liability over such services.
9. Pricing
9.1 Prices are indicative and subject to change without notice.
9.2 MaidOnCall bears no liability for pricing disputes, service duration, or outcomes.
GENERAL TERMS (APPLICABLE TO ALL USERS)
10. Indemnity (Critical Protection Clause)
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MaidOnCall, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and legal expenses arising out of:
- Acts or omissions of Experts
- Theft, damage, injury, or misconduct
- Breach of these Terms
- Violation of any law
- Any dispute between you and an Expert
This indemnity shall survive termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaidOnCall shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation
11.2 MaidOnCall's total aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed INR 10,000.
12. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, trademarks, designs, and software belong exclusively to MaidOnCall.
13. Termination
MaidOnCall may suspend or terminate access without notice or liability for any violation or risk exposure.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governed by the laws of India.
14.2 All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
14.3 Seat and venue: Mumbai, Maharashtra.
14.4 Courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction for interim reliefs.
15. Force Majeure
MaidOnCall shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.

Response: Acknowledged within 24 hours; resolved within 15 days.
17. Amendments
MaidOnCall may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
